A stunning triangular-shaped teal-colored Peruvian blue opal is the focus of this beautiful artwear statement necklace by Judi Goldblatt Studio. This opal is exclusively from the Andes mountains, and is the national stone of Peru. Prong set to show off as much of the stone as possible, the opal sits on the middle of 5 small sterling plates. Heat formed rivets connect the hammered plates and the oval bar links, leading to a hook-and-eye clasp and small extender chain. Small lengths of commercial cable chain provide a delicate detail. The rest of this outstanding necklace is completely handcrafted. Each piece hand formed and fabricated, riveted, soldered and polished. Truly a unique piece.
The bib element is approximately 8"/20cm across, for a total length of 19"/48cm and a 1"/2.5cm extender chain.
All sterling silver. This necklace is one of a kind.
